Nepali Congress leader and Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister Prakashman Singh has said that he will work to make the party popular while in the government.
On Friday, Deputy Prime Minister Singh while giving his opinion at the Congress Central Committee meeting said that he will work to increase the reputation of the party and make it popular. He also asked the party leaders and workers to give constructive advice and suggestions to make the government successful. Now the Congress is participating in the government under the leadership of Singh.
'The party has sent it to the government. I will work in such a way that the heads of the party and the friends of the party are held high," said a central member who participated in the meeting, quoting Singh. Similarly, in a different context, Neta Singh opined that as long as he is popular in the party, he should be able to contest the internal elections of the party and general elections as long as he is popular among the people.
While giving his opinion on the proposal about the exit of the leadership in the Congress, he said that he should be able to contest the election as long as he remains popular among the workers and the people.
