Health and Population Minister Pradip Paudel has instructed all institutions, departments, hospitals and health centers under him not to work in private hospitals, nursing homes, clinics and medical facilities during office hours.

Minister Paudel held a zoom meeting on Friday and instructed to implement it strictly saying that senior doctors of big hospitals are not present during hospital hours and do not stay during office hours. Directors of big hospitals across the country including Veer, Teaching, Patan participated in the

meeting. Minister Poudel has asked everyone to work together to improve the hospital, saying that even for general surgery, the waiting time will be up to one year.

Secretary of the Ministry of Health and Population, Dr. Roshan Pokharel, instructed to make arrangements to receive the lab report online, electronic payment, ICU room, inquiry and complaint room management, adding a counter to facilitate the service users. In the

meeting, the directors of all the hospitals have expressed their commitment to improve the hospital from their respective areas.
