Decision of the Council of Ministers: Relief to the missing as if they were dead

According to Communications and Information Technology Minister Prithvi Subba Gurung, there was no provision for the families of the missing to receive any relief. The meeting decided to provide relief to the families of those who lost their lives in the floods. Likewise, Minister of Communications Gurung said that he has decided to emphasize the search for the missing and the treatment of the injured.

Similarly, the meeting has decided to release the funds for the third installment to the victims of the Jajarkot earthquake. Communication Minister Gurung informed that Leeladevi Gadtaula was assigned the responsibility of Permanent Chief Secretary at the meeting. The meeting has also decided to publish the decisions of the Council of Ministers only after 24 hours, except for the urgent ones. Minister Gurung said that this practice will be strictly implemented for the maturity of decisions.

Some decisions are not even studied properly by the ministers. Therefore, in case the ministers want to think about it further, there is a provision of 24 hours," he said. According to him, the decisions of the Council of Ministers will now be brought out only by the spokesperson of the government. The government has also announced that Nepal will be free of street children within one year.
