DSP Rizal informed that 3 passengers who jumped from the bus, which was Ganapati Deluxe, was going to Gaur from Kathmandu.

According to Chief District Officer of Chitwan, Indradev Yadav, out of the two buses that drifted in Simaltal, there were 24 passengers in the Angel bus going from Birgunj to Kathmandu and 41 passengers in the Ganapati Deluxe coming from Kathmandu to Gaur.
