The BP and Madan Bhandari highways have been blocked since Friday morning due to landslides and floods after continuous rains.
According to the police, BP highway was blocked due to flood in Mamti river of Kavre under Nepalthok-Dhulikhel section of BP highway.
Sindhuli Police SP Govindaraj Kafle informed that traffic was blocked due to a landslide in Hariharpurgarhi Rural Municipality of Hakpara on Madan Bhandari highway.
Efforts are being made to remove the obstacles on both highways. Golanjor Rural Municipality-6 Akkare Bhir and Fikkal Rural Municipality-2 Sumnambensi have been blocked due to landslides.
