Indigenous software will be used in government agencies

The government has now claimed to use self-developed information technology systems and software in public bodies. It is mentioned that priority will be given to the software developed by the government sector in the upcoming policies and programs.
Presenting the policy and program for the year 2081/82 in the Federal Parliament on Tuesday, President Ramchandra Paudel said that the system and software used in public bodies will be developed by the government sector. Along with this, he informed that the standards of the information technology system used by the public bodies will be determined.
'The standard of the information technology system used by the public body will be determined and made safe and reliable,' he said, 'the information technology system used in the public body, including hardware, software, network and cyber security, will be tested.' The government's plan is to restructure the agency and make service delivery effective.
