Model and artist Prashant Tamrakar said that the definition of beauty is different now than before. In the last session of the program 'Nirvik Nari' organized by Kantipur Publications Limited on Thursday, Tamrakar said that beauty is now a representation of the society, country and culture in the discussion on 'Saundarya Maan'.
At the beginning of my career, there was a common understanding that if I fell within the standard of beauty, I would be beautiful. It had criteria for height, thickness, color, body structure. When I got a chance to participate in an international competition,' he said, 'I got a different definition of beauty after I got there. I saw beauty in the smile, in the eyes, in the body, in the tender heart. Beauty also represents society, country, culture and youth I understand that it is.'
Being a person who grew up in a country called 'a common flower garden of four castes and thirty-six characters', artist Tamraakar also said that every art and culture of Nepal is beautiful. He also believes that the measure of beauty is according to the time and conditions in which a person grew up.
