China has expressed interest in the formation of a new government in Nepal. A question was asked about the political situation in Nepal at the press conference of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs held in Beijing on Tuesday.
In response, Chinese Foreign Spokesperson Mao Ning expressed the hope that China will proceed smoothly with the formation of a new government through unity and cooperation in Nepal. Regarding Nepal's recent formation of a new ruling coalition and the reorganization of the cabinet, she said, "We believe that all parties in Nepal will unite and cooperate to facilitate the process of forming a new government and improve political stability, economic development and people's livelihood."
He said that China attaches great importance to the China-Nepal relationship as a friendly neighbor and cooperative partner, and said that Nepal will adhere to the five principles of peaceful coexistence, enhance traditional friendship, strengthen practical cooperation, and promote China-Nepal strategic cooperative partnership for the next generation. She said that she is willing to work together with the government. She said, "To be oriented towards development and prosperity and to create more benefits for the people of the two countries, to develop more China is ready to work together with the new government of Nepal.'
