Announcing seven wards of Chandragiri as 'Child Labour-Free Wards'

Ghanshyam Giri, the mayor of the municipality said that all the wards will be declared as 'child labor free wards' within the current financial year. For this purpose, the municipality has allocated the budget by keeping the 'Child Labor Free Ward' declaration program as a high priority.

He said that all the wards of the city will be declared child labor free by March 2081.

Previously, only 6 local levels across the country have been declared free of child labour. In the program, Deputy Chief Basanti Shrestha, Chief Administrative Officer Hemraj Aryal, Ward President Narendraraj Shrestha of Ward 11, Ward President Ghanshyam Luintel of Ward 15, Rashmi Shrestha, Head of Social Development Branch, and various other municipalities. The head of the branch, various children's clubs, school students and local residents participated.
