The police have arrested a person who cheated by saying that he would be sent abroad on an artist visa. The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has arrested 40-year-old Sulaiman Shankar (IKU) aka Suryaman Shankar, who has permanent residence in Dhapakhel, Lalitpur Metropolitan City-24 and currently lives in Dhumbarahi, Kathmandu.

It is alleged by the police that Shankar would take artist visas to different countries in Canada, America and Europe and after going there, he would get attractive earnings of 15 to 20 lakh rupees per person. .

According to CIB spokesperson Hobindra Bogti, the money was deposited into the bank account in the name of SMS Films Pvt Ltd operated by Shankar and the bank statements and other documents required for visas in foreign countries were forged. There has been a complaint that preparations are being made and that they are hanging for a long time .

CIB spokesperson Bogti informed that Shankar was arrested from Budhanilkanth in Kathmandu on Tuesday and submitted to the Kathmandu District Court on Wednesday. Saying that further investigation is going on, the police have asked him to contact the police if he has cheated.
