The newly constructed district police complex in Bhadrakali of the capital Kathmandu has been operational since Monday.
The building of the district police complex of Vasantpur Darbar area in Kathmandu was destroyed by the 2072 earthquake. And since the 18th of May of the same year, the police service was mainly coming from a temporary tent at the National Trading located in Teku .
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Home Minister Ramesh Akhtar and others were present at the opening ceremony. 196 Panahari buildings across the country were damaged in the earthquake.
