A young man and a young woman were found dead in Jharna Guest House on Shambhu Marg, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-9. According to the police, 23-year-old Bharat Bahadur Sarki Andaji of Triveni Municipality-4 in Bajura along with 20-year-old Karishma Sarki stayed in the guest house room no. He was living in 402.
Bharat and Karishma were found dead in their room on Friday. Karishma's body was found with her throat cut, while Bharat was found hanging, SP Navraj Adhikari of District Police Complex Kathmandu informed.
After he did not come to eat even till 12 o'clock in the morning on Friday, the owner of the guest house informed the police .
'We got the news at 1 am . When the police arrived at around 1:15 a.m. and opened the door of the room, a woman's body was found with her throat cut, while a man was found hanging from the ceiling fan with a rope around his neck,' said the SP official.
According to the police, the relationship between Bharat and Karisma has not been revealed, while Karisma's whereabouts have not been confirmed. The police have sent the body for post-mortem and further investigation is underway.
