Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel has expressed interest in the decline of the stock market. On Wednesday, he inspected the site of Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) and instructed to take all possible measures for market growth.
Nepse Paudel, which was around 2000, continuously increased to 3000 after he became the Minister of Finance. This is also the reason why Finance Minister Paudel has been taken positively by stock market investors. But that growth did not last long and the market is continuously declining. At the same time, the NEPSE has dropped to 2,576 points by Wednesday.
Finance Minister Paudel had a discussion with officials of Nepal Securities Board and NEPSE after the market continued to decline. At the same time, Finance Minister Paudel expressed his commitment that the government is ready to provide all kinds of support to increase the capacity of NEPSE.
