On the occasion of its 19th anniversary, Ncell has announced the establishment of Ncell Foundation on Tuesday with the aim of promoting social responsibility activities in an institutional manner. According to Ncell, the foundation was started as a commitment to support the upliftment and empowerment of every section of the society.

Through this foundation, Ncell has announced to invest 1.9 crore rupees for 19 projects at the rate of 10 lakh rupees per project. Ncell's website states that the company has targeted 100 projects in the future, directly/indirectly impacting the lives of 13 million people and investing 2 billion in social contributions. In the program, the Chief Executive Officer of Ncell, Jabbor Kayumov, informed that the applications for 19 projects in which 19 million rupees will be invested in the 19th annual report have been opened.

Apart from this, accident insurance, travel insurance and mobile screen insurance can be activated through Ncell's 'insurance always on' package, Umer Mohsin, the company's chief commercial officer, said. He informed that this service can be availed through Ncell app. According to him, there is no extra charge for the services that are always included in the package. It was also informed in the program that 50% lifetime discount will be given to people with different abilities on the package of Rs 399.

'Ncell's purpose is not only to make profit, Ncell is not a business for profit,' said CEO Jabbour, 'every day and all the time, Ncell is quietly doing things that many people don't pay attention to.' He said that Ncell's aim is to contribute to the society and contribute to the Nepalese government's Digital Nepal campaign by moving forward from this situation with patience and affection.

Ncell, which was established on 16 August 2061, was known as Meri Mobile at that time . Four years later, Sweden's Telia Sonera Company purchased it and established the brand under the name Ncell.
