Minister for Land Management, Cooperation and Poverty Alleviation Balram Adhikari has said that the Land Commission will be formed within the next month.
At the Regional Workshop and 11th General Meeting of the Development Association for Sustainable Rural Development (AFA) held in Kathmandu on Monday, the minister said that a commission will be formed to solve the land-related problem.
``We will provide agricultural land to unorganized and small farmers, we will make them interested in agriculture,'' he said, ``We will make them enterprising by joining agriculture.'' Stating that food sovereignty is in the constitution, the minister said efforts will be made to protect it.
