In the 11 months of the current financial year, 13 trillion 27 billion 51 crore rupees have entered the country through remittances. It has increased by 19.3 percent compared to the same period of last financial year. Remittance inflow increased by 22.7 percent in eleven months of last year.
Remittance inflows in US dollars increased by 17.3 percent to 9.98 billion. Last year, such flow increased by 13.0 percent .
The number of Nepalis who took the final work permit (institutional and individual-new) for foreign employment in the period of eleven months is 422 thousand 936 and the number of those who took the work permit again is 262 thousand 705 .
