Until the last month of May, the country's foreign exchange reserves have reached around 20 trillion rupees. It has increased by 27.8 percent compared to last June. On Wednesday, the monthly report of the public Nepal Rastra Bank showed that the foreign exchange reserves reached 19 trillion 67 billion 19 billion by the end of last May. By the end of June 2080, such reserves were equal to 15 trillion 39 billion 36 million.

According to the report, such reserves in US dollars increased by 25.7 percent to 14.72 billion at the end of May 2018, compared to 11.71 billion at the end of June 2018.

Rashtra Bank claims that if the import of 11 months of the current financial year is taken as the basis, the foreign exchange reserves held by the banking sector will be enough to support 15.1 months of goods imports and 12.6 months of goods and services imports.
