Kirant Yakthung Chumlung Panchthar has given keylang training to the rural youth and teenagers to inspire them to develop culture. Chumlung has launched this campaign to revive Chabrung dance based on Limbu culture.
Last time, 30 teenagers and young women participated in the Chabrung training organized by Chumlung in Phidim Municipality-5 Chokmagoo. Chabrung dance is called Keylang in Limbu language. Earlier, Chumlung also completed Chabrung training in Phalelung Rural Municipality of the district.
The district vice president of Chumlung, Suwash Tumbapo, informed that the Keylang training, which is being conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Development under the Koshi State Government, will be delivered to all eight local levels of the district.
