Raveena Rai, who was severely injured after being hit by a stone in Silichong Rural Municipality 1 Sisuwakhola of Sankhuwasabha, was rescued by a helicopter.
Rai was seriously injured after being hit by a stone that fell from the house around 5 am on Tuesday. DSP Ghanshyam Shrestha of the district police said that 9 hours after being injured, he was rescued by an army helicopter and taken to Kathmandu for further treatment. According to him, since it was not possible to bring trenches from the scene by footpath, they were taken by helicopter for further treatment.
Motimaya Rai and daughter-in-law Sanika Rai died on the spot when they were suddenly crushed by a stone that fell from the house while they were sleeping. The deceased's husband is working abroad. According to the police, he also has a 4-year-old daughter.
