A woman was injured in Chainpur Municipality-11 Kerabari after being hit by a bullet from a loaded gun. Menuka Khatiwada of Chainpur-11 Kerabari was injured. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Ghanshyam Shrestha, Khatiwada was seriously injured by gunshots while sleeping on the terrace of a corn field near her house.
The police have arrested Anil Kumar Tamang and Tulsi Jimmy, 37-year-old Lank Tamang of Kingring, Chainpur-11, along with two loaded loaded guns.
Although the incident took place on June 4, it came out only on June 21. It came out only after the injured woman was taken to Kathmandu for further treatment. The police recovered a baruwa gun and 432 grams of ammunition from them on June 22.
Dumsi was seriously injured by the bullets of the gun. The police announced the two people who fired at the woman in a press conference on Monday. Khatiwada, who was sleeping on the corn field, was hit by a bullet on the right side of her back.
The district police office said that the injured Khatiwada could not be treated at the district hospital and was taken to Kathmandu for further treatment. The arrested Tamang and Jimmy have been remanded by the District Court Sankhuwasabha and further investigation is being conducted under the Criminal Code, 2074 for the offense of murder and embezzlement.
