The 23rd national conference of Akhil (Revolutionary), a student organization of the Maoist center, will start from October 10.
Akhil (Revolutionary) Vice President and Spokesperson GP Mainali issued a statement on Thursday and informed that the conference will be held in Kathmandu from October 10th to 12th. Chairman of the Maoist Center and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal will inaugurate the conference in the courtyard of Valmiki Campus at Exhibition Marg. As part of the
conference, the legislative report will be presented on the 11th and the election for the new leadership will be held on the 12th. The aspirants have demanded direct elections for the leadership.
The previously scheduled conference was moved several times because the leadership could not agree.
