Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the government is ready to create a proper investment environment for the private sector at national and international level. He said this while addressing the 'Nepal Infrastructure Conference 2024' organized by the Confederation of Nepal Industry and the Ministry of Physical Transport and Infrastructure Development.

Prime Minister Oli also said that he is ready to go hand in hand with the private sector. Infrastructure development is a catalyst for economic growth. Reflecting on this fact, we have prioritized the development of good roads, infrastructure development, transmitter lines, etc.,' he said, 'We expect the cooperation and positive support of all levels of government in this effort.' He informed that the economy is gradually recovering and Nepal will be upgraded from an underdeveloped country within a few years. Stating that the government and the private sector should work together in the construction of infrastructure in the country, he said that alternatives should also be found in the financing of many infrastructure projects. "We have to find ways to use financial instruments to build our infrastructure with the participation of the private sector," he said.

By saying that infrastructure development will increase the quality of life, he also said that access to water and sanitation will reduce health risks. "We need good roads, strong electricity transmission infrastructure, orderly and sustainable cities and aviation infrastructure, it is also a priority of the government," he said.
