Jaspa, Nepal has objected that the government has violated the principles of proportionality and inclusiveness while recommending ambassadors to 17 different countries. In Wednesday's meeting of the House of Representatives, Rajkishore Yadav, Member of Parliament of JSP, Nepal, said that the constitutional arrangement of including the ambassador's recommendation and proportional representation has been violated.

Yadav, who is also the Chairman of the International Relations and Tourism Committee under the House of Representatives, said that although the basic spirit of the constitution is proportional and inclusive, the government did not follow it on the ambassador's recommendation.

'When we wrote this constitution, we said that the spirit of the constitution resides in proportionality and inclusion. But the government has now recommended ambassadors, it does not seem inclusive from any angle,' he said, 'it has recommended to reflect a single ethnic, single cultural identity.'

Yadav also said that the issue of violation of the proportional and inclusive arrangement by the ambassador's recommendation raises the question whether the government will follow the constitution or not. 'Should the government accept the constitution or not?', he asked, 'If the government does not accept the constitution, what situation will arise if the people say they will not accept this constitution tomorrow?'

Govt Lokdarshan Regmi in America, Shankar Sharma in India, Prada Krishnaprasad Oli in China, Sumnima Tuladhar in Denmark, Shail Rupakheti in Germany, Jung Bahadur Chauhan in Russia, Chandrakumar Ghimire in UK, Prada Kapilman Shrestha in South Africa, Professor Dhanprasad Pandit in Israel, Netra Prasad Timalsina in Malaysia, South Korea Shivamaya Tumbahangfe has been recommended as ambassador.

Similarly, Rita Dhital in Pakistan, Rameshchandra Poudel in Qatar, Prakashmani Poudel in Portugal, Nareshvikram Dhakal in Saudi Arabia, Sanil Nepal in Spain, Ramakrishna Bhattarai in Sri Lanka have been recommended as ambassadors.

The government is being criticized for not representing communities including Dalits, Madhesi and Tharu while recommending 17 people as ambassadors. He also said that the Parliament is entangled in the issue of non-payment of dues by industrialists who consume electricity from trunks and dedicated lines to the Nepal Electricity Authority. He said that the opposition and the ruling party have confused the parliament by disputing the matter.

MP Yadav also said that the government made up of the first and second parties of Parliament is not allowed to fail. He said, 'When the government was formed, people had hope and trust that something important would be done in terms of people's livelihood, good governance and social justice, but from the day the government was formed until now, there has been a lot of gossip, but the work cannot be counted on the fingers.'

Yadav said that the government is busy opening Tiktok rather than opening the files of those who are said to be involved in corruption.
