The MPs have demanded strict action against the person who threatened to attack officials of Tribhuvan University. At zero time of the meeting of the National Assembly on Thursday, MP Nar Bahadur Bista said that the threat of attack on the officials of the university, which is an academic center, raised questions about the security system of the country.

"The Yogendra Rawal group, which physically attacked a university professor two years ago, has now threatened to attack university officials. The threat of physical attack in an academic place like a university is worrisome. Strict action should be taken against the culprits," MP Bista said.

MP Uday Bahadur Bohra demanded that the Rapti highway be blocked due to flood and landslides and that the highway be repaired immediately and arrangements for traffic operation be made. MP Urmila Aryal pointed out that Chandrasingh Karki, Vice Chairman of Sarkegad Rural Municipality of Humla, died in a road accident while coming from Surkhet to Nepalganj and drew the attention of the government to come up with a special plan to reduce road accidents. MP Bhuwan Bahadur Sunar drew the attention of the government to carry out road accident reduction schemes targeting festivals.

Member of Parliament Krishna Prasad Paudel pointed out that black market, adulteration and artificial scarcity of daily consumer goods have started as the festival approaches and drew the attention of the government to make market monitoring effective. MP Muhammad Khalid demanded the reconstruction of Kamala Bridge and pointed out that the health of the unemployed youth is becoming complicated and drew the attention of the government to address the demand immediately.
