Foreign Minister Arju Rana Deuba, who is on an official visit to India, has asked South Asian university professors to jointly research and suggest solutions to various social problems including the effects of climate change emerging in South Asia.

Minister Rana, who reached New Delhi last Sunday, had a courtesy meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during her stay in India. Also, she said that she held bilateral talks with Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar. She also held a meeting with Bharatiya Janata Party's foreign affairs chief Vijay Chathaiwale.

Minister Rana went on an official visit to India at the invitation of Indian Foreign Minister Jaishankar. She is returning to Nepal on Thursday evening.
