The flood in Solukhumbu's Thame River has advanced through Dudhkoshi. Even though the low coastal areas were flooded with rocks and mud, the water did not exceed the regular level.

Indramani Dahal, Ward President of Thulung Dudhkoshi Rural Municipality-3 said that the flow of water through the Dudhkoshi River in the areas of Khumbu Pasanglhamu Rural Municipality, Mapyadudhkoshi Rural Municipality and Thulung Dudhkoshi Rural Municipality has progressed steadily.

According to him, water with lead has been seen in Dudhkoshi river. The flood of Dudhkoshi has progressed to the coastal areas of Khotang and Okhaldhunga. So far, the river is in its own flow, but the residents of the coastal area have been informed to stay in a safe place, he said.

In Khumbu Pasangalhamu rural municipality-5, schools and clinics along with 12 houses have been damaged due to the flood in Thame river. Details about the human casualties have not been confirmed.
