The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that the Government of Nepal is fully aware of ensuring the safety of Nepali citizens in Lebanon.
Regarding the recent developments in Lebanon due to the growing tension between Israel and Hezbollah, the ministry said that Nepali citizens are safe.
"If any additional assistance is urgently needed, Nepali citizens in Lebanon and their relatives can contact the Nepali Embassy in Cairo and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at any time," it is mentioned in the notification issued on Monday.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs has appointed a contact person for Nepali citizens and their relatives in Lebanon. Among them are Deepak Ghimire, Second Secretary of the Nepali Embassy in Cairo (00201097772348) and Shri Krishna Silwal, Branch Officer of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (9779849179520).
