According to the Nepali Embassy in Dhaka, all the Nepalis including about 400 students in Bangladesh are safe.

According to the statement issued by the embassy on Monday, it is mentioned that most of the Nepali students studying in Bangladesh have returned to Nepal and all the Nepalis including the remaining 400 are safe.

About 3,000 students are studying in Bangladesh and have already come to Nepal by air and road. Similarly, around 150 Nepali employees are working in various international organizations in Bangladesh.

In addition, the embassy has also informed students who want to return to Nepal and all Nepalis to travel only after coordinating with the embassy and ensuring security arrangements.

The embassy has requested all Nepalis to stay safe where they live and exercise maximum vigilance due to the resurgence of anti-quota movement in Bangladesh and violent demonstrations and the current indefinite curfew order from the Bangladesh government.
