The meeting of the House of Representatives has been postponed after the government declared a public holiday in the valley for Sunday. The meeting called for 1 pm on Sunday has been postponed to 1 pm on Monday.
Secretary General of the Parliament Secretariat, Padya Prasad Pandey, published a notice on Friday and informed that the date and time of the meeting has been changed.
'The meeting of the House of Representatives scheduled to be held at 1 o'clock on Sunday, July 20, 2081 could not be held at the scheduled time due to the decision of the Government of Nepal to grant a public holiday on that day, in accordance with sub-rule (3) of Rule 6 of the House of Representatives Rules of 2079, the Speaker called the next meeting of the House for July This notice has been published for the information of the Honorable Members, who have decided to sit at 1 o'clock on Monday, the 21st,' said the notice issued by General Secretary Pandey.
