Health and Population Minister Pradeep Paudel has said that it is necessary to develop an integrated health system for the improvement of the health sector. Speaking at the 135th anniversary program of Shaniwar Veer Hospital, Minister Paudel said that it is necessary to coordinate all the units within Veer Hospital.
He insisted that there has been no significant improvement in the managerial aspect and said that better results can be obtained from the human resources that are being improved and coordinated properly. He said that it is necessary to make the questions raised about the
procurement process transparent. Saying that all behavior and transactions of Veer Hospital should be made transparent, he drew attention to the complaints that Veer Hospital was not able to provide effective services.
He said, 'There is a public complaint that Veer Hospital could not provide effective services. There is a public complaint that the emergency was not good. There is a complaint that one has to wait for the operation. We are hearing complaints from the people that they are not satisfied with the service. How true and how false they are. But we have to address those complaints gradually.'
He said that the hospital currently has 1800 manpower, including administrators, doctors and technicians, and urged them to proceed with confidence that service delivery can be organized with the same manpower.
'I don't want to say that the manpower is complete, but the number of manpower is not small. If he works hard, we can achieve great things. Therefore, coordination of all units within Veer Hospital is necessary. It is necessary to develop an integrated health system. It is necessary to advance the relationship with each other in a coordinated manner,' he said, 'therefore, it is necessary for this integrated organization to proceed with its work in an integrated manner. We have to improve everything on the managerial side, but we are not able to improve everything. On the managerial side, if we improve and improve coordination, we can give good results within these resources.' Speaking at the
program, Vice Chancellor of the National Institute of Medical Sciences (NAMS) Dr. Bhupendra Basnet said that Veer Hospital is focusing a lot on specialized and ultra-specialized services. He said that he is working to make Veer Hospital a highly specialized hospital.
