Narayanman Bijukche, Chairman of Nepal Labor Farmers Party, has said that the effects of the country's weak education policy are being seen in all sectors. In the orientation program held at Khwap Secondary School run by Bhaktapur Municipality, he said that the widespread privatization and commercialization of the education sector is a problem.

President Bijukchen opined that the trend of young students going abroad for study and employment is increasing and this trend cannot be stopped unless they are provided with employment in the country.

'From employment to education Going abroad is increasing. Colleges in Nepal have reached the point of closure. Students should be guided by teachers to achieve higher education in Nepal and serve the country. The government also needs to pay special attention to create employment opportunities,' he said.

Chairman of College Management Committee and Head of Bhaktapur Municipality, Sunil Prajapati said that 1,680 students from 56 districts were studying in Khwapa Mavi and Sharda Campus in 2081.

In the event, Prada Siddhiveer Karmacharya established the Shahid Memorial Scholarship Akshaya Fund and handed over the scholarship amount of 4 lakh 44 thousand 444 to the college.
