Pilot Manishratna Shakya was the only survivor of the Sourya Airlines plane crash that took place at the Tribhuvan International Airport on Wednesday morning. When 18 people died in the plane crash, the 'pilot in command' Shakya was rescued safely.

Sourya's plane flying from runway 02 towards Koteshwar of the airport met with an accident at 11:11 in the morning. About 2 minutes after that, the front of the plane reached the place where the fire engine had started pouring water . In about 20 minutes, the driver Shakya was rescued and taken to the emergency room of Kathmandu Medical College and Teaching Hospital in Sinamangal. According to the doctor, Shakya has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for close monitoring. We are observing. Now his health condition is stable . Looking at the current situation, he is out of danger," said the doctor. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli reached Kathmandu Medical College on Wednesday evening to understand the condition of pilot Shakya.
