The technical team from India has focused its search work on the three kilometer area of the accident site in search of the two buses that went missing and fell into the Trishuli river from the Ledoma Bagi road that went over the culvert of Narayangadh-Muglin road Bharatpur Metropolitan City-29 Simaltal Sinduregaira. The Indian team has been searching since Sunday.

On the first day, the team along with the Nepalese security personnel searched from Simaltal to Kerabari in Trishuli River and from Devghat to Kabreghat in Narayani River. From nine in the morning to 2 in the afternoon on Monday, they searched four times in a distance of three kilometers from Simaltal to Kerabari. Then yesterday, from five o'clock to one and a half hours in the evening, it was searched twice in the same area.

The Indian team is engaged in the search with sonar, a device that indicates the shape and shape of objects in the water. The team is searching the river with the help of sonar in a motorboat. They are analyzing the signals coming from the laptop on the motorboat. Chief District Officer of Chitwan, Indradev Yadav, said that while searching the area around Simaltal, the Indian team suspected that there were some suspicious objects.

"Therefore, the joint search of the Indian team NDRF and our team is starting from 8:30 this Tuesday morning in the Kerabari area around Simaltal," said Chief District Officer Yadav. 11 days have passed since the Simaltal accident. On Friday, June 28th, around 3:30 in the early morning, two passenger buses fell into the Trishuli when the ledo crossed the culvert in Sinduregaira.

There were 65 passengers in two buses. Although the bus reached Trishuli, three passengers of one bus managed to survive by swimming by themselves. A team of Nepali Army, Armed Police and District Police started searching for two missing buses and 62 other passengers in Trishuli. During the search, 25 dead bodies, including four women, were found from the banks of the Narayani river and the Triveni Gandak Dam area far below Simaltal.

As of Monday evening, 19 bodies, including three women, have been confirmed to be the passengers of the crashed bus and have been identified by their relatives. The remaining six bodies have not been identified. There were also nine Indians in the bus. The bodies of five of them have been found. The search team also found bodies 103 km below the accident site. But even though divers and sonar technology available in Nepal were searched, the bus was not found.

A 12-member team of India's National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) came to Chitwan on Saturday and started searching for seven days as requested by the government. They have four divers and three sonar cameras. The Nepali team also used sonar. Since Indian sonar is more advanced and technically experienced than the one used by Nepal, it is expected that the search will be successful. But the search operation has been affected by the strong flood of Trishuli river.
