Attempts are being made to recover the plane of Buddha Air with the callsign NineN AOC that slipped from the runway of Gautam Buddha International Airport at Bhairahawa in Rupandehi on Thursday night. From Friday morning, Buddha Air's technical team, airport groundhandling staff and security personnel are trying to take out the plane and bring it to the arrival.
According to the airport administration, it took time because all the three wheels of the plane sank into the soil. The wheel is stuck in the soil. Efforts are being made to get the aircraft out of the way as soon as possible. Due to the fact that the propellers of the ship are on the runway, it is difficult to operate the flight. After the plane slipped, Buddha Air's rescue team landed at Bhairahawa in another plane at two o'clock in the night. Immediately after the ship slipped, the airport's groundhandling team, security personnel and staff were deployed to rescue the passengers and evacuate the ship. The airport staff were on duty till morning.
Airport General Manager Pratap Babu Tiwari said that efforts are being made to operate the flight as soon as possible. "We have prepared to open the departure," he said. Soon after, the rescue workers took out all the passengers safely. Passengers have already gone to their destination at night.
