The landslides that occurred after continuous rains have blocked the BP highway and the Jalanpahari public road since Saturday morning. According to the police, the road was blocked due to a landslide in Sunkosi rural municipality-2 under the BP highway.
Golanjor rural municipality-6 Akkare Bhir and Fikkal rural municipality-2 of Madhyapahari Lokmarg have been blocked by landslides.
Due to the blocking of two highways, the vehicles traveling from the eastern hill districts of Okhaldhunga, Khotang, Solukhumbu, Bhojpur, Udaipur and Terai to Kathmandu are stuck on the road. Sindhuli police chief SP Govindraj Kafle informed that landslide removal is being done with the help of Mechanical Office Mulkot.
