On the occasion of Haritalika (Teez), the great festival of Nepali women, around three lakh devotees have visited Pashupatinath temple and worshiped.

Revathiraman Adhikari, spokesperson of Pashupati Kshetra Development Fund informed that about 3 lakh devotees entered the main temple and had darshan till 4 o'clock on Friday.

There are still many pilgrims sitting in a long queue for the darshan of Pashupatinath. According to the fund, visitors will be allowed to have darshan today as long as they sit in the queue. On the occasion of Friday, all four gates of Pashupatinath were opened from three o'clock in the morning.

It was raining for some time in the morning and it was uncomfortable for the devotees to sit in the queue. After the rain stopped, many devotees entered the Pashupati area and queued up. For Teej, the fund had arranged four queues from outside.

After entering the main temple, two to three queues were arranged at one door, he said. On the occasion of Teej, First Lady Savita Paudel is scheduled to perform worship and darshan at Pashupatinath Temple today. On the occasion of the

festival, it is said that only around 600 women policemen have been deployed inside the main temple. On the occasion of Teej, the fund has allowed women to enter today.
