The team of the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office has arrested three people on charges of being involved in the robbery of 50-year-old Kamala Gautam, a resident of Madhyapur Thimi Municipality-1 in Bhaktapur, in the robbery of one tola of gold.
Those arrested are 38-year-old Anil Kumar Tamang of Kavrepalanchok Temal Rural Municipality-9 and resident of Banepa, 34-year-old Ganesh Lama of Kavrepalanchok Namobuddha Municipality-5 and resident of Lalitpur Gwarko and 31-year-old Suresh Tamang of Bethanchok Rural Municipality-6 of Kavrepalanchok and resident of Kathmandu Gaushala. Office Information Officer and Superintendent of Police Kazi Kumar Acharya informed.
He said, 'During the investigation of the incident in which the one tola gold Sikri worn by Kamala Gautam around the neck was looted and escaped by an unknown person at the bus stop of Lokantali on the morning of July 21, our team and the police stationed from Thimi Bhaktapur arrested the three persons from Kaushaltar in Bhaktapur. Yes.'
Information officer Acharya said that Anil Kumar, who was arrested on 1st June 2071, was previously prosecuted by Police Circle Gaushala, Ganesh by Police Circle New Baneshwar three times, Suresh once by Police Circle Buddh and Police Circle Gaushala three times by Police Circle Acharya.
The Valley Crime Investigation Office has informed that the arrestees have been sent to Police Circle Thimi, Bhaktapur for necessary investigation and action.
