The team of the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office has arrested four people on the charge of fraud of 73 lakh 50 thousand by promising to send them to different countries for foreign employment.

Among those arrested are Nima Rinjin, 30, resident of Makwanpur Bastipur 19, Arubari, Kathmandu, Prakash Bajracharya, 55, resident of Emadol, Lalitpur Metropolitan Municipality-9, Kalpana Bajracharya, 56, of the same place, and Ramechhap Manthali Municipality-9, resident of Gokarneshwar-5, Jorpati, 34. Chandamaya Thapa is a year old.

According to Ravindra Regmi, Spokesperson of Valley Crime Investigation Office and Superintendent of Police, among those arrested, Rinjin had defrauded 10 people, including Nirajan KC, by saying that they would send them to the UK.

Similarly, Prakash Bajracharya and Kalpana Bajracharya filed a complaint for taking 15 lakhs for sending two people including Naresh Maharjan to Canada and Chandamaya Thapa Karki for sending Rakesh Ojha to Spain for 200,000. Based on the same complaint, the police arrested them and released them today.

Spokesperson Regmi informed that the accused have been sent to Foreign Employment Department Tahachal, Kathmandu for further investigation and action.
