Today (Monday) too, the National Bank is going to withdraw 50 billion rupees from the market after a large amount of loanable funds has accumulated in banks and financial institutions. Rastra Bank said that due to the decrease in liquidity in the financial system and the expiry of the maturity period of the previously withdrawn amount, it is going to withdraw Rs 50 billion again.

Banks and financial institutions have accumulated liquidity (loanable amount) as the demand for loans has not increased while the deposits are increasing. Rastra Bank is going to withdraw the amount for 21 days through the deposit collection tool for liquidity management.
