Police Assistant Constable Purushottam Niraula, who was working at Police Station Targade, suddenly fainted while on duty, passed away.

Niraula, who fainted while on duty in Madi Municipality 2, was declared dead on Saturday evening at the health post in Basantpur of Tehrathum.

According to DSP Ghanshyam Shrestha of District Police Office Sankhuwasabha, Niraula fell down suddenly while on duty on Saturday. His body will be postmortemed on Sunday at the VP Koirala Health Science Institute in Dharan. DSP Shrestha said that after the post-mortem, his body will be taken to Solusambu and handed over to his family.
