Minister of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Balram Adhikari has asked the local level to work so that the problem of land allocation does not arise again. The minister has requested that all municipalities complete the process within this financial year so that they do not have to stop.

When municipalities do not classify land, the series of allotment stops at the local level has been going on since 2076. Monday's meeting of the Council of Ministers has decided to open land auctions on the proposal of the Ministry of Lands.

Only 193 out of 753 municipalities across the country have completed land classification, while other municipalities are not able to classify land on time, and the problem of land allocation has come up time and time again.

With the opening of Kittakat, the land management and records department said that the work of Kittakat has started in all the shipping offices across the country from Tuesday .
