Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Badri Pandey has said that there is a need to improve the civil aviation sector.
In a program held in Kathmandu on Sunday, Minister Pandey said that it is Nepal Airlines that will improve the field of civil aviation. He said that unless Nepal Airlines is strong and effective, other things cannot improve. Stating that he has taken all the information about the ministry after becoming a minister, he said that now there is a need for improvement.
Minister Pandey said that he will move the ministry along the path of policy reform without deviating from truth and integrity. We have to improve the civil aviation sector. Improving the field of civil aviation is done by the government airlines and Nepal Airlines. Nepal Airlines will not improve until it is strong, until it is effective, until it is reliable,' he said. RNAC is not Old Royal, it is Reformed Nepal Airlines . Nepal Airlines will take a route only after reforming.'
Minister Pandey said that other airlines can be regulated only after the restructuring of Nepal Airlines. He said that Nepal Airlines will be restructured and other airlines will be regulated. He also said that the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation has gone in the direction of reform and the goal is to go in the direction of restructuring.
