This milestone in the last installment of the peace process: Prime Minister Oli

In a program held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Singh Darbar, the report was handed over by the Home Minister Ramesh Akhtar, who is also the coordinator of the committee, to the Prime Minister and Chairman of CPN (UML) Oli, Leader of the main opposition party Dahal and Congress Chairman Deuba.

The summary report of the bill, which was registered in the House of Representatives and pending consideration in the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee of the House, has been submitted after facilitation and discussion. In the task force, there were Ramesh Akhtar who is also Home Minister from Congress, Chief Whip Mahesh Bertaula from UML and Janardan Sharma from Maoist Center .

The Interior Minister wrote that an agreement has been reached in a victim-friendly manner on the subject of reconciliation, compensation and punishment for those who have been amputated in the armed conflict. In the

handing over program, Prime Minister Oli expressed his commitment to pass the bill unanimously in this session of the Parliament as there is no confusion and ambiguity in giving a legal basis as the report of this agreement has been received as the last installment of the peace process. It has been agreed that the law should be amended to complete the peace process that we have started and the last installment of it. We have passed through a painful past. There was a violent conflict in the country. The country suffered a great loss . There was a positive change, but we had to finish the peace process. After all practices of violence have been brought to the peace process through consensus, there is no need for its remnants to remain,' Prime Minister Oli said, 'This consensus has been reached keeping in mind the judgments of our respected Supreme Court, international recognition and victim-friendly issues. This milestone has been proved in the peace process. These bills have been introduced to prevent such conflicts in the future. With the passage of the bill, we will immediately start work including the formation of a commission through mutual consultation and agreement.'

He clarified that although there were various practices in the past, now that democracy has come, violence and lawlessness are not necessary. He stated that the government is clear that democracy should be considered as a way of life and said that he will move forward for the protection and effective implementation of the federal democratic republic as there are those who fought for democracy.

Chairman of the Maoist Center, Dahal, recalled that efforts had been made to agree on the task force's report as a good work after the formation of the new government. He requested that the report should be finalized through the legal process of the Parliament and the message of peace, stability and development should be sent to the Nepalese people.

Congress chairman Deuba said that the working group has set an exemplary example to the world by giving a unique message that Nepalis can solve their disputes by themselves. He wished that there would be an agreement on the implementation of the agreement .
