8 people including 6 children died in landslides in Baglung

15-year-old Vidhan Pariyar and 24-year-old Ganga Basnet were killed in a landslide in Badigad Rural Municipality-9 Balghas on Tuesday morning.

The landslide behind the house has buried the Pariyar who went to avoid the landslide . He died on the spot while removing the landslide and the police said that his body was found buried in the landslide in Basnet.

Similarly, 7-year-old twins Malti Budha and Madhu Budha, 13-year-old Manoj Budha and 12-year-old Aman Budha also died in a landslide at a place called Arupata in Ward No. 10. The 6-year-old daughter of neighbor Sanju Bik, who came to the same house, also died. 59-year-old Maitidevi Bik also died in the same incident.

The body was found when the police and locals searched the old man's house and buried it. At 10 o'clock in the morning, the old man's house was buried when the neighbors came. It is not clear how many are still missing in the incident.

46-year-old Sangeeta Budha, 59-year-old Sumitra Bik, 32-year-old Sita Thapa and 42-year-old Mangalasin Budha were seriously injured in the incident. Assistant Chief District Officer Chitrangat Baral informed that they are ready to be sent to primary health center Burtiwang for treatment.

After receiving the information that the house was destroyed and buried, the local police office Burtiwang and the rescue team of the surrounding police went to that place .
