The Congress is going to nominate MP Kusum Devi Thapa as the chairman of the Agriculture, Cooperative and Natural Resources Committee of the House of Representatives. Congress chief whip Shyam Ghimire informed that Thapa will be promoted by the party.
After Arju Deuba became the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the chairmanship of the Agriculture Committee was vacant. The said committee is under the quota of Congress.
