The election of the Chairman of the Agriculture, Cooperative and Natural Resources Committee under the House of Representatives will be held next Tuesday. According to Sub-Rule 1 of Rule 176 of the House of Representatives Rules, 2079, the time has been set for the election of the chairman of the said committee on this 15th of July.
In today's meeting of the House of Representatives, Deputy Speaker Indira Rana, who is in the Speaker's seat, gave information about the election of the Speaker and instructed the General Secretary of the House of Representatives to publish the information about the election today.
Dr. Arju Rana Deuba, who was the chairman of the committee earlier, is about to elect a new chairman after becoming the foreign minister. Today's meeting of the House of Representatives elected MP Upendra Yadav as a member of the Finance Committee, Bhanubhakta Joshi and Deepak Karki as members of the Agriculture, Cooperative and Natural Resources Committee and Dhan Bahadur Budha as members of the Women and Social Affairs Committee.
