The special court has asked the then Chief Secretary Baikunth Aryal for a bail of 50,000 rupees. After the closed debate on the corruption case filed by the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority on charges of corruption in the purchase of excise sticker printing, special counsel asked Aryala for bail on Sunday.

According to Yagya Regmi, information officer of the special court, the bench of chairman Teknarayan Kunwar and members Ritendra Thapa and Ram Bahadur Thapa ordered Aryal to be released on bail. Regmi said that Aryal is in the process of submitting the bail after the court order.

Ltd. Keshav Sharma and the said company were filed by the Authority.
