On the occasion of the Constitution Day, more than 5,000 security personnel have been mobilized for the 'National Day Concert' program to be organized on Durbarmarg in Kathmandu today.
In today's 'National Day Concert' program, Nepal Police, Armed Forces Chief of District Police Complex Kathmandu and Senior Superintendent of Police Vasant Razoure informed that at least five thousand security personnel have been mobilized including police and traffic police.
He said, 'We have arranged the management to deploy at least five thousand security personnel to protect every person who comes to the concert. If you try to spoil the atmosphere of the concert venue, action will be taken.' A 'National Day Concert' has been organized at Darbarmarg from 4 pm today.
The security command of the concert will be done by the head of District Police Kathmandu and Senior Superintendent of Police Razoure, and a security plan has been prepared so that the spokesman and Superintendent of Police Navraj Adhikari will be assigned to the concert venue.
The government has coordinated and facilitated the concert organized by the citizens. It is said that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will participate in the concert. Traffic has been stopped in Darbarmarg area since yesterday.
The Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office has informed that the vehicles going from Kesarmahal Chowk towards Dakshingate towards Jamal, the vehicles coming towards Dakshingate from Jayanepal Chowk towards Krishnapauroti and the vehicles going towards Dakshingate from Mahendra Salik Chowk are 'diverted' to Ghantaghar till 8 pm today.
