A discussion has been held between the high-ranking officials of the Ministry of Finance and Health to advance the process of building a state-of-the-art Veer Hospital in Duwakot of Bhaktapur.

Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel, along with Health and Population Minister Pradeep Paudel, in a meeting held at the Ministry of Finance, it was agreed to call for proposals internationally for consultants to prepare a detailed project proposal for the construction of state-of-the-art and well-equipped Veer Hospital. After the

consultant prepared a detailed project proposal according to the needs of Nepal, it was agreed to proceed with the construction of a modern and well-equipped hospital in Duwakot, Bhaktapur. During the

discussion, Finance Minister Paudel said that it is necessary to build an international level hospital with all kinds of facilities so that Nepalis do not have to go abroad for treatment. In the

meeting, issues such as the operation of basic hospitals that have been completed and yet to be operated, and health insurance were discussed. In 2073, the government decided to provide about 700 ropani of land for the construction of an expanded Veer Hospital in Duwakot, Bhaktapur.
