Not only is their family in mourning now, but the light of hope has also been extinguished.

23-year-old Abhishek Shrestha, who died after being shot by the police, was making final preparations to go abroad. Shrestha, whose permanent home is Titribana in Ramdhuni municipality of Sunsari, had submitted the documents in Kathmandu just before going to Saudi Arabia. Shrestha's family has informed that the visa has also arrived. Shrestha, who participated in the demonstration on August 24, was shot directly by the police. He collapsed on the street in front of the municipality. Bleeding profusely. He died on the spot.

Shrestha, who was living on rent in Itahari-5, used to work as a part-time photographer in a hotel in Itahari. The family has informed that he decided to go for foreign employment after it became difficult to support the family with Nepal's income.

Before going abroad, he took a training as a warista in Kathmandu some time ago. After completing the training and submitting the documents to the Manpower, he returned home and was making final preparations to fly to Saudi Arabia. But before Saudi took off, her dress flew off.

Shrestha's mother claims that the police shot him dead. His mother says that no one else should suffer such a thunderbolt because her arms were empty when her son lost his life. Shrestha's family demands that their son who lost his life for the country should be made salik and kept in the main square of Itahari.
